About Sorella
It takes on average 7 to 10 years for a woman to be diagnosed with endometriosis. She often spends most of those years feeling like no one believes her. More than 190 million women worldwide live with endometriosis, 1 in 10 has PCOS, and half of them say they don't have anyone to talk to about it.
Sorella exists for those years, and for everything after. It's an anonymous peer-matching app for women navigating endometriosis, PCOS, menopause, and more: you're matched 1:1 with someone who lives the same thing, or you join a small private circle for your condition. "Sorella" is Italian for sister, and that's the whole idea.
What we believe
- Small and private beats big and public. There's no feed, no likes, no reach on Sorella. Just conversations between women who've opted in.
- Anonymity makes honesty possible. No real name, no photo required. You choose a username and an avatar, and you decide what to share, with whom.
- Language shouldn't decide who you can lean on. Conversations are translated automatically across 6 languages, so a sister in Berlin and a sister in Lyon can carry the same week together.
- Peer support is support, not medicine. Sorella never replaces a healthcare professional, and our guidelines keep it that way.
Who we are
Sorella is a small team based in France, building carefully and slowly enough to keep every conversation safe: every report is reviewed by a human, and safety decisions are never left to an algorithm alone. You can read how that works in practice in our Privacy Policy and Terms.
